"محمد رسول الله والذين معه أشداء على الكفار رحماء بينهم ، تراهم ركعا سجدا يبتغون فضلا من الله ورضوانا ، سيماهم في وجوههم من أثر السجود . ذلك مثلهم في التوراة ومثلهم في الإنجيل كزرع أخرج شطأه فآزره فاستغلظ فاستوى على سوقه يعجب الزراع ، ليغيظ بهم الكفار . وعد الله الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات منهم مغفرة وأجراً عظيما . “Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are hard against the unbelievers, merciful one to another. You see them bowing, prostrating, seeking bounty from God and good pleasure. Their mark is on their faces, the trace of prostration. That is their likeness in the Torah, and their likeness in the Gospel: as a seed that puts forth its shoot, and strengthens it, and it grows stout and rises straight upon its stalk, pleasing the sowers, that through them He may enrage the unbelievers. The Sahabah, as we all know, are the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS). They were his disciples, friends and defenders, many of whom suffered with him the persecution and harassment he and his early followers suffered at the hands of the polytheist.
